Welcome to this school year. A new, clear page full of promise and possibilities.

Art class. The children are etching out ideas on paper, portraying what it is that they like to do, trying to show what matters from their perspective.

So we begin, similar, as always, but different, like never before.

Foremost, we connect.

We share ideas and formulas for choosing what we do.

We gather in, breathe and explore thoughts.

We let our ideas simmer using our eyes, ears, hands, heart and mind. Now, we could even relax.

By drawing, sketching, and exploring what can happen, most likely an image will appear. This is the moment. This is when creativity gets stimulated and we decide if we can go further, if we are excited enough to find out more.

We will take the time to lay it all out and talk about it. We'll clean everything up and class will end. Rest easy, in a week another art class will begin.

Here is a thought to keep in mind, once that creativity thing starts, it really keeps blending itself into everything. So keep an eye out, it is everywhere.
