I.Review of the Faculty Survey
Bill Jesdale distributed the results of the faculty survey on basic competencies. Bill noted that teachers are willing and ready for more training and that they seem excited to learn. They are attempting to use technology in teaching strategies. He noted that the weaknesses are due to limited resources to implement ideas. More time is needed for training. More time is also needed for professional development.
Funds are needed to purchase more software. Simulation software is needed. Training is needed in three categories: hardware use, software use and selection, software integration.
Debi Gray noted that keyboarding software is needed. Discussion centered on the need for a computer lab.
II. Next Meeting Date
The next meeting was set for July 17 for a writing session (10-2:00 p.m.)

The meeting adjourned at approximately 8:00 p.m.
