Technology Committee Minutes

I.Review of Technology Plan
At this session, Sandy Lathem reviewed a current draft of the technology plan which included the writing from the previous section. Most of the time was spent reviewing this material and organizing which sections remained to be written.
Sandy noted that a Chair needed to be appointed for the committee and that as time went on, the maintenance of the technology plan needed to be handled within the Lincoln community. Debi Gray volunteered to assume this role and would be responsible for planning the agenda items. Bill Jesdale offered to contact all members of the committee about meeting times and dates.
The members discussed that the revised draft needed to be reviewed by the Technology Committee and that a plan for presenting it to the School Board needed to be established. The group decided to hold another meeting so that planning for the next steps would take place.
Bill Jesdale distributed information that he had gathered on assessing student skills. Remaining sections of the plan were delegated. Sections on Human Resources and Budgets would be written by Sandy and Bill.
