Student Writing by Alice Leeds' Fifth/Sixth Grade Class
The above are selected pages from the many books which
came to life while the LCS Leeds 5/6 students explored the rich relationship
between visual imagery and the written word. These "Painting the
Sky" books were created as a part of Picture Writing: Fostering Literacy
Through Art, an art-and-literature-based writing program designed by
